1. Lesson will be held on "Zoom" application that can be used on smartphones, iPads and PCs. This is the main online lesson method in the United States.

Prior to a consultation, you will receive a detailed Zoom Lesson Instruction PDF, which includes recommended equipment to help you set up the sound quality suitable for the violin playing.

2. Next, submit a list of your current solo repertoire, etude, scale etc. If you are amateur orchestra player, you can include the orchestra excerpts.

* Online violin instruction requires good verbal communications. Because this is not hands-on, you are required to have some basic violin technique and note reading skill.

Currently, I am accepting from the fourth grade of elementary school of the Advanced beginner level or higher (can play in the 3rd ). Please contact me for more information.

3. Schedule a Zoom test session/interview (about 20 min.)

I would like to know about your musical goal and any concerns you may have. It is very helpful for me to understand where you are, and for you to achieve your goal quickly by assessing the problems.

During the interview, we will also work together for the best equipment settings with camera and microphone angle, standing position etc.

4. Time for Online Session!

Zoom allows you to record your lesson easily.

It is useful for the review... you may find your own unknown habits you would want to correct.

5. During the lesson, you will be assigned pieces for the video recording.

Recording is easy; just use mobile phone or iPad. This helps me to assess the tone production and some musical nuances because the sound quality is much better on these recordings. Also, this is a very good performance practice.

I will comment on the video and return it to you by the next lesson.
